I’ve had two LG phones that had a fingerprint sensor/power button on the backside of the phone. I miss that arrangement. The button/sensor was way more ergonomic. My index finger would naturally end up in that spot when I pick up the phone. I find the screen fingerprint readers are more awkward and less reliable, especially once you add a screen protector. Unfortunately, LG got out of the smartphone business. Just because a feature is newer tech doesn’t mean it is better.

Flies serve many roles in nature. They help spread beneficial bacteria and mushroom spores. They are also food sources for various small animals, insects and arachnids. Sure they are annoying and creepy, but they have a place.

The plaque forms as a result of bacteria eating the sugars that stay on your teeth. Most dentists in my life have recommended brushing right after eating.

I HATE the shuffle button on Spotify. It used to be better. I have a Playlist that I used to listen to with the ‘enhanced’ shuffle. Spotify would add similar songs into the queue. It was nice. Now Spotify just plays the same 20 songs or so, over and over again. My Playlist has over 200 songs without even adding the variety into the queue. I’ve started actively removing songs because they are all I hear. This isn’t how listening to music should work.

My newer Vizio will not default to hdmi. It always brings up the menu, where you have to scroll through a bunch of ads to get to your apps and input options. The apps randomly change order. Sometimes you even get a pop-up ad when you first turn it on. I wish I had never bought the damned TV.

I think you are confusing socialism with communism.

I get a weird AI boyfriend/girlfriend app. I honestly don’t know how Google decides what ads to serve you. I do have ad personalization turned off in every app/device I can.

I’ve noticed the same issue on many posts. I am using the app, liftoff. If I just refresh the page all the missing comments load. I don’t know if this works on other apps or in your browser, but it works for me.

I am currently trying several lemmy apps on android and most videos play in the apps. Some of them even autoplay as you scroll past.
