  • American liberals are so fucking brainwashed they don’t even see the insanity of their posts. You can see it with the CHUD brigade rolling through this post.

You know, it’s considered completely normal to take paid time off to take care of sick relatives in other developed countries? And it doesn’t affect their entire month of paid time off to use for recreation?

Why are y’all so proud of being slaves?

  • Every time I go to (regional fast food chain) or Taco Bell or something, the line is about 1/5 poors and the other 4 are almost always a $70,000 truck or one of those ridiculous circular BMW/Benz SUVs or a decidedly non-base model Tesla.

The US has reached the point where the “haha look at the poors” food is consumed by the rich and the poors are, well…

It’s honestly hilarious how Americans refuse to wake up to class consciousness, desperately shouting about how all the other countries have it so much worse.

Even the village idiot in Iraq knows the TV media is all propaganda. Meanwhile, US corporations spending millions on campaigns against state bills is completely normal and people actually trust the signs they put up.

Lol. Lmao. This ships going down and taking the whole world with it.

  • The reason you may not have received the reception you expected is because your POV comes from a deep well of privilege. Clearly you recognize they are shit people, so why?

You are making a choice to validate your parents’ beliefs, to expose your own family in their formative stages to those beliefs, and to the detriment of your own friends, for money.

That’s fine. Nobody’s telling you to give it away. It’s yours by law if they choose to give it to you.

But to then go and complain about voluntarily eating some poop (so to speak) for financial independence later - to people whose entire lives are defined by how they are treated by people like your parents with nothing at the end but more discrimination, is a bit… liberal.

  • Yep, I don’t give a shit about AirDrop or even use the ecosystem. Just iPhone and AirPods.

iPhone because I am a discerning consumer whose current life needs fit it better. AirPods because they are best in class for iPhones (yes due to anti consumer policies). In college sure I customized the heck out of my androids.

Now I just want something that runs fast and reliably browses the internet. AdGuard takes care of the rest.

I used to buy proper Samsung/LG flagship Androids and absolutely loved them for my needs at the time. But every single one went to complete shit after 2 years. Huge battery drain, slow and unresponsive, no updates.

My iPhone is 3.5 years old, still blazing fast, battery drain consistent with degradation, still getting updates, still no need to get a new phone.

This entire debate is literally the bell curve soyjack meme lmao but I had fun typing at least!

  • Yep, GS has some careful navigation to do. Their new 9RA5 thermocompensated spring drives are quite impressive.

A hand assembled, hand black-polished (hands, case, bracelet and all!), and fully in-house manufactured watch - this cannot be found outside GS until you hit $30k-$50k haute houses.

Even Rolex only black polishes a few movement parts and makes use of part picker tools and outsourced parts to assemble >1mil watches a year.

GS indexes are placed by hand, by eye, by one person using pure experience! By contrast they hand make 30k watches a year.

But as you said, does that matter to the global consumer when $10k gets you a Rolex? We will see! Maybe they become the next haute brand eh?

It’s a typical micro brand. Good value for the price, can’t really complain!

Miyota 9075 which is very decent and any competent watchmaker can service it. 316L and sapphire are to be expected for micro brands at this price. No applied indices or display caseback but again at this price those are harder to find.

Is it worth it? If you love the look, you won’t be getting ripped off with this.

If you’re looking for a forever watch maybe save up for a Tudor Black Bay Pro GMT which this seems inspired by. Buying $700 watches is great until you have four of them, they all need expensive servicing, and you realize you could have just gotten a nice $5k watch for the same total price.

Alternatives: At this price there are tons of mechanical GMT options, Lorier, Seiko, Glycine, etc.
