What? Twitter is majority owned by Musk, by a very very large margin. Not that giving your info to Musk is any better than giving it to the Saudi government.

Wasn’t it the blahaj admin who defederated from some popular instance because it had an “adorable porn” community, claiming that contained child abuse content. Nevermind that a subreddit with the same name has existed for like a decade. And when proven wrong they doubled down and never admitted falsely accusing people of serious crimes.
Beehaw’s reasons for defederation were completely unrelated to what’s happening now. They didn’t want the general public to have access to their “safe” community.
The quality of writing has been the lowest I’ve seen my entire life. The number of shows where the plot or characters are broken because the writers literally don’t care what they wrote just last episode is astonishing. Some choices are so baffling that they look like deliberate sabotage.
Shows that actually want to tell a story don’t seem to have the problem of early cancellation. Severance and Silo, two recent examples of shows with good writing had no trouble being renewed. There is also “From”, which isn’t particularly well written, but its low budget allowed a very quick renewal.
This is the second time I’ve seen an article incorrectly call a streaming service a “streamer”. Have they been paid off by some PR campaign to attempt to redefine the word?
Just call it Twitter like everyone else lol.
A. It’s more convenient and clear. B. It will probably piss off Musk.
It should be noted that setting Adguard as your DNS will allow Adguard to track the domains you visit. The latest info I can find is that a lot of their team is still located in Russia, which makes them susceptible to government demands regardless of their intentions.
DNS adblocking should be the last resort. On Android there are many ways to do system wide local adblocking (with and without root). Don’t know about iOS. Alternatively you can do network level blocking with something like a pi-hole.
