Beelzalel Smotrich, ugh. I can’t fathom the mindset required to keep supporting Israel as it travels this path.

I wish more people would realize that what those in power do to the most disadvantaged among us, they will eventually do to the rest us, should we get in their way.

Now what’s that old saying again, “If one person thinks you’re an ass, it’s their problem. If everyone thinks you’re an ass, you probably are an ass”

Not sure what kind of morals those are, but they definitely do not belong to a truely civilized society.

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich implies he believes that blocking humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip is “justified and moral” even if it causes 2 million civilians to die of hunger, adding however that the international community won’t allow this to happen.

I personally avoid “taking sides” (we have our own problems in Ukraine) in what wikipedia calls the Israel–Hamas war, but this is a full on open call for genocide.

Israel and Hamas are both bastards, but neither wholly represent their respective constituent citizenry, and no group ever deserves starvation or genocide. Not a complicated situation to identify as fucked.

Thanks for the clarification, I misunderstood.

Smotrich was born in Golan Heights and never seemed to have lived in Ukraine (and I am guessing he doesn’t speak Ukrainian?).

Why would we “take him back”? :)

And what’s he going to do in Ukraine anyway?

Don’t think he has what it takes to fight the russians.

It’s one thing to demolish Gaza and another thing to fight against a strong, well equipped and deadly enemy.
