They had built up a bit of soap residue. Now they’re cleaner.

      I soaked them in warm water with some dish soap, then used a soft bristle toothbrush to scrub the residue off.

      Then I applied a dab of mineral oil to the ones with exposed threads.

        That’s how I do it too. Sometimes, i also use a bit of vinegar to help with the cleaning as well.

        TIL that there is a Lemmy community for wet shaving.

        I was going to suggest a toothbrush and then was happy to read that’s what you used.

          Oh, maybe 35 minutes or so.

          I had 6 razors to clean, and I wasn’t in a hurry.

      I might just buy an ultrasonic cleaner to make it easier. My hope is this would result in less squinty-eyed toothbrush scrubbing.
