For the 8 it should have a strap on the back like the 4a 5g’s case, don’t care about it for 8 pro I’m fine with say, white lines on the case if it’s magsafe, but no extravagant patterns

Haha, I thought it was just well placed sarcasm. When this thing looks as Reddit-ish as it does, impossible to separate the two mentally when using it.
I have the pixel 8 pro case from Google, it’s nice. Just makes it grippy.
Love this case. Got the white one and it’s very high quality and shows off the camera bar nicely.
Buttons are nice and clicky and there’s a slight lip that keeps the camera or the screen from touching the table.
Dbrand ones are pretty good these days
You can also get something like this to smack onto the back
Waiting on my ghost to come in, the grip for the 7 was a nice high quality case. Would recommend them.
I got a bubble under the skin after a few days and contacted support for a remedy, they suggested a hot air dryer but also sent a new skin without my asking free of charge. Like they literally just sent it to the order address and said “btw you’ve got another one in the mail”. So A+ customer support in my books.
That’s what I’ve heard, they have a history of making things right if there are any issues

I love my peak designs case, but I also use the mount feature for my bike. The mag safe is also nice for my wireless charging stand.
No lie, look on aliexpress.
I got 3 different cases (silicon, plastic, fabric) for about $3 each.
Caveat is you’re going to have to wait a long time for shipping.
They have a warehouse where I live so it shouldn’t take long
