This is not quite correct. The NOMAP flag was not made to look like the trans flag, at least not according to Snopes; that’s just a coincidence that transphobes have latched onto. (Although side note, I don’t think actually think they look similar at all?)
Snopes wrote a new article this month, but even their old one from 2018 that the video claims to be referencing makes no mention of the trans flag at all. The association with the trans flag didn’t come up until recently, and has nothing to do with the original creation of the flag.
