For example, I am currently registered with Beehaw. Sometimes I visit lemmy.ml and feddit.uk to see what their front pages look like or just to browse their local communities.

Is there a way to, or plans to implement a way to do this on Jerboa?

If you’re registered at those other instances, you can create another profile(s) in Jerboa that connects to them, and then using that profile, browse by Local, I suppose.

I’m registered at both lemmy.cafe and lemmy.ca, and have profiles for both registrations in Jerboa.

Otherwise, if you’re registered only with Beehaw, I believe the answer is, “no, not in Jerboa, just with your device’s normal web browser.”

I am registered with both, but that kind of defeats the point of being federated, right? Certainly, it works for now as a stop-gap solution. (I do of course appreciate how early in development everything is). It would be interesting to know if there is appetite for that as a feature.
