What he said is basically that he does think about quitting every day because it’s a hard job that requires tons of sacrifices and has a huge impact on your personal life and all sane human would feel the same way and would constantly be questioning themselves if they were in his position.

He never said it the way English media is trying to depict it. He mentions in the same interview that he believes he still has something to bring to the table, especially with all the attacks on democracy and populism, he’s not there to be popular, he’s there to try and improve things.

Love supporting bad politicians with bad policies just because I imagine it will make foreigners and people I don’t like mad.

I mean, supporting someone because you like their policies is a fine reason, but that is very much not the reason you gave. Also, can you not see how deranged it is to scream “RUSSIA LOVER!!!” at anyone who disagrees with you in a conversation about Canadian politics when they never even mentioned Russia?

The Liberal government’s policies are generally mediocre, except when the NDP twist their arm into doing something good for Canadians.

But hey, I’ll take them over the Conservatives any day

I am a life-long Liberal. I cannot wait for the door to hit him on the way out. Hell, I invite you to watch him in Parliamentary Sessions, not clips, actual sessions on CPAC, his holier-than-thou, drama teacher, never-a-direct answer way of doing things will make you hate him too. Of course on top of his personal 4 or 5 corruption/ethics scandals should be more than enough. I mean, these are like no secret and documented.

Not to mention his office recent inviting of an Ex-SS Officer, a Nazi, to get a standing ovation on National TV. Due to them just wanting to sell a PR stunt and clearly doing incompetent due diligence. And then he trying to somehow try to blame the Russians for his screw up. As if he thinks people are that stupid. Maybe he does.

If your take is to keep his manipulative, lying BS in there, just because people you politically disagree with do not like him then no wonder the Canada is going down the pipes. Politics are not a team sport.

Let the Americans do that if they want. We should know better.

Nah, they knew. There’s no way a guy who “fought in WW2 against the Russians” made it that far without at least someone going “who exactly is this guy, and who did he fight for?”

        It was testing the waters.
