That just goes with a territory of having an iPhone. When you bought that device you signed on to a culture of consumption that is enforced by the developer of that device.
The developer can’t force Apple to let the developer give it to you for free. Apple doesn’t tolerate free very well and anything that is free on Apple is likely either a privacy nightmare or is paid for by some subscription you have with Apple.
This isn’t a problem with the app It’s a problem with the Apple.
Some of the largest protests the world and specifically America had ever seen took place during the Iraq and Afghanistan wars drawing incredible numbers of people all across the country to protest. Our government got violent putting down a lot of those protests and The News largely just didn’t report it.
It’s just harder to hide shit now, but a lot of people seem to discount how much power the TV had over what people thought was going on outside.
That was my first thought too but they don’t look like the larvae of how centipede since those usually have some longer hairs at the front and back.
They look kind of like house centipedes but they don’t look like house centipede larvae. They don’t have the long hairs just all their hairs are the same length.
Also the silk is not something I have heard of the house centipedes doing.

My father used to make fun of me for saying that I could hear the TV on even if it was muted, or that I could hear the furnace ‘scream’ before it came on.
One year, I got as a gift for Christmas, a handheld recorder and a fancy microphone from my stepfather a university music professor And that recorder could actually record the sound which he was able to show me on the computer.
That was like 25 years ago, I’ve been working with computers ever since, and now I am familiar with many many many devices that make high pitch whines.
That would be a good protest sticker to add as an amendment. Just the words “to stop the slaughter”

There are a lot of really useful components in there that I already understand. The speakers, the lenses, even the cooling oil used on the projector tubes can be repurposed.
I use the actual shell of the TV as a rolling cabinet since the wheels are still in great shape. I’m working on a water heater to take advantage of the massive fresnel lens. There was a great deal of junk in there though.

I just wonder why they are covered and face inward. The shiny part is pointed towards the inside of the unit.
I guess I should find out what voltage they operate on and see if I can use them in some tiny project.

If I could get Apple devices in an open compatibility I wouldn’t hate them I probably still wouldn’t buy them though.
My hatred comes from the fact that I believe critical thinking and mental flexibility are very important skills for people to develop at a very young age. I think one of the most important avenues for the development of reasoning and technical skills is through interaction with technology.
That technology should encourage and reward your curiosity. Apple does not reward curiosity or encourage it, it taxes it to such a degree that Apple users are by and large technologically illiterate.
I grew up on Apple computers, and when I was little the Mac nerds we’re doing some pretty cool and impressive shit with their Mac tech that you just can’t do now. It was a gateway to me learning about a lot of this technology, but they are a walled garden now, and it gets worse every year.
A large part of my job is helping young people and seniors learn how to use technology. Apple makes that much more difficult because Apple stuff only works the Apple way none of it translates to any other technology.
Whenever I talk to somebody who doesn’t know what a folder is, what a browser is, that when they download files they go to a place, how to share content with non Apple users, how to use non Apple software, how to use any other non Apple technology, its because Apple wants it that way. I just don’t understand why a company this abusive would have fans.
It’s like being a fan of Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Wells Fargo, or The Pinkertons. You are paying extra for fashion accessories that are objectively lower spec and with a reduced feature list than the alternative that is cheaper. The only benefit of Apple devices is the security, And that’s easily bypassed because they don’t need to compromise the device to get your information from Apple.
All of the data harvesting of Android TV can be blocked with ease. None of the closed ecosystem, price gouging, or feature rot of Apple devices can be worked around in any way.
If you’re content with the limited offerings available on Apple devices and the exorbitant prices you have to pay to get access to them then by all means continue to fund that nightmare company and it’s war on consumers.
It’s hard to imagine that police in Korea have solved all the crimes with victims and now have enough time and resources to go after victimless crimes so vigorously they drove people to suicide.
Maybe the police need their priorities straightened out.
Don’t buy apple’s expensive garbage. If you are thinking about getting some Apple TV device you should get a shield, an Android TV, even a raspberry pi 4b would be better than bending over for apple.
Just stop giving that fucking company your money.

The energy cost to build the car in the first place will never be offset by the usage it will see. You personally might be saving on fuel costs but the energy it costs to refine and build those things taken together with the opportunity cost of what doesn’t get built because of the limited supply of resources needed to make those batteries and the whole thing becomes much more of a gray area.
Electric cars aren’t here to save the planet they’re here to save the car industry.
