It’s been awhile since I’ve been on twitch, but I remember the ad would be blocked, but the player would just display “The broadcaster is currently running an ad” or something like that. Didn’t see any ads though so it technically worked

After 5% can I ring my “Year of the Linux desktop” bell?
I finally got a good paying job, by wife is starting to move up at her’s and we could finally afford to have kids (with support from our families) Then plastic balls memes start
Was planning on going to the record shop this weekend. Guess it’s time to pick up Atomizer

Sweet! Was looking for a weather app that was a tad more indepth and customizable after trying clima for the last few months. Looks good so far for my usecase
…you can just change instances. World did this before and I that’s how I ended up on this account/instance.
Turn on reader, then Menu > Print > select printer “print to PDF”
Same, hopped from PF to opn last year and really haven’t had to do too much besides updates. For somethings E
What would be the difference of running this as opposed to pf/opnsense? I know they use FreeBSD but I am not that versed in BSD based networking
I first felt like I was missing on news for my niche hobbies but just started going sites directly for news (testing an rss reader this week for the first time in over a decade so that might change). Besides that just looking at the default hot or rising threads hit a lot of what I’m looking for with good discussions.

I believe I would be fine on the network part, I am just guessing writing them to an SSD cache drive on my NAS would be fine? Im currently writing to the SSD and have a move script run twice a day to the HDDs
So dual NIC on each device and set up another lan on my router? Sorry it seems like a dumb question but just want to make sure.
I guess if I could find one with IR/add IR or just finally get a good remote that would be good. Tbh if it was just me I would have just set up an old sff with a wireless keyboard and be perfectly fine, but my wife likes a streamlined interface that works with our TV remote. I got a k400 a few months ago and have been trying to get that to replace our remote but she doesn’t like it as much. If I could just set up a SoC machine that works with a remote (used Logitech Harmonies at my last job but that was years ago) I think that might be the best compromise. Sorry, started the post about fixing my shield but there is another TV and projector I want to set up right.
I was thinking about finding a SoC that could do x264 and x265 natively and doing something like Linux into a tv box but haven’t taken a deep dive into it yet.
Toss in some bidets, a squatty potty and baby you got a stew going.
