I did not expect !beds to be about Bedfordshire. I assumed it was furniture related.

Yes but not by choice Ernest has had health problems and has not been able to work on it. The instance is going to be handed over to a new team when he gets the chance.
I still use kbin social when it is up though I have been using here on kbin.run and I have been testing fedia.io. I did make a matrix to try and keep in contact with other kbin users but I think a lot of us are already spread out to different instances.
I was using that as an umbrella term though I should have specified both scam ads and intrusive ads that are a vector for malware.
They just escalated the arms race between ad and ad blocker. All this could have been avoided if they actually did something about the scam ads.
A lot of Flerfs actually acknowledge every other planet is round with only the Earth being flat for some reason.
Good job japan, corporations should not be allowed to lock you out of using competition on a device you own.
Looks like a Daedric artifact of some sort.
Seems a bit misleading at least with apple it is obvious that it is not a fruit but calling a company Humane you expect it to be more ethical.
Meta abandoning CrowdTangle during an election year has the same vibe as an officer turning off a body camera right before a confrontation.
I never got what made these pins humane are they trained on data that they got permission for? Or did they use an ai model that does not use much energy thus not destroying the environment?
Or a bunch of memes that are on the same level as what a MAGA idiot would make.
Its about time people bring up the .ml tankie problem. Lemmygrad was defederated but .ml was ignored due to basically being their PR instance. This is the main reason I have stuck to kbin social despite it having a lot of spam and errors and why I am now on Mbin.
I haven’t heard of any best practices regarding migrating accounts other than just make a new account and start over. Apps that log you into lemmy/kbin/mbin etc might try and solve that by having all your old posts get mirrored to an instance on your new account but it would have to be in a way that does not spam the other instances version of the community the posts were shared to. I guess if you use a timestamp on posts you could have the migrated posts appear before the newer ones after migrating?
230 is still a pretty healthy size though.
Nice do you run the community yourself or… is it a tag team.
Yeah Mbin is cool. I also like the ui of kbin when it is working. This is not the first time it has been down for a few days so I think it could come back online. Though I have not seen any communication involving it going down this time.
Squaredcircle? I remember seeing that a bit on kbin a few months back. I assume the name has to do with the ring being a square shape?
I think it has potential though not in its current state with the spam and now not being able to even use it.
Its okay nothing to lose sleep over.
