I’ve already seen hivemind votes on some Lemmy comment threads. It’s just inevitable. Hopefully most Lemmy communities can be better about the banning thing though.

That’s not what that implies. I’ve seen that argument from religious people describing how atheists must be unruly because they have no incentive to meet a good afterlife.
I can still be clean, look how I want, and be nice to others just because I want to and I like it when others do the same.
I am a poorly trained large language model with legs, nice to meet you.
If I’m reading this patch note correctly, they didn’t actually fix it using too much battery, it seems they fixed android over reporting the battery used?
This post is a good mildly infuriating post. The pizza does cost too much.
However, it also seems like the poster wasn’t ready for discussion when posting to a discussion board.
It’s a loose cannon, but dang it it’s the best washer on the force.
Nah you had it right. They mixed up left and right.
I don’t watch Star Trek, but I want to pitch in that the only episode I’ve ever seen is Trouble With Tribbles and I enjoyed it.
There are plenty of good Lemmy communities that aren’t on those instances. I don’t blanket block them personally, but I understand those who do.
I don’t know why so many people in the fediverse consider Element a competitor to Discord. I regularly use Element, but the non-text functionality just isn’t ready to point people at as an alternative. They will have a bad time and write off Element potentially forever if they are shown that app as an alternative right now.
Some examples of functionality that is important to discord but is not a good experience or is not ready in element yet: voice/video channels, screen sharing, custom emotes and reactions, channel organization and browsing (their latest attempt just doesn’t do it for me).
Additionally, there are times when encryption just has a hiccup still or someone sets it up wrong and things can be messy because of it.
I really like element and they’ve done a good job so far, but It’s just not ready for people to be pushed there from discord.
Ah, so it’s from below then
I felt like my team was a little restricted by what I could find in the first two areas of the story, but TemTem is a generally good game with all double battles.
It’s git terminology which boils down to that anyone can contribute to the source code if the community approves the changes made.
Ahhh I can’t wait to play it. Wish it was on PC, but I’ll deal with it.
I know they’re doing all that they promised but I feel so bad for the owners since the next version of Android will have some nice improvements for foldable phones.
I haven’t played the demo so I don’t know what features are coming over, but fusion is amazing and really opens up once you can reliably get monsters up to level 20 since you get lots of skill points by then.
Getting good monsters is just about as important as getting good skills, max one out to get an improved version on the next fusion (with some super good ones only showing up if certain combinations of skills are maxed). I don’t know if they’ll be in this game, but if you come across a way to teach class-based skills to monsters (fighter, warrior, monk, etc) they are super strong.
If you have two monsters that you won’t be fusing with anything important, fuse them together. Getting the overall number up will help out later, and you might want to use them as skill fodder at some point or maybe you’ll stumble into a cool or unique fusion.
We gotta make that virus, too. Just in case the fish-plant hybrids rebel.
