Just updated my drivers and it seems to run well under proton on Linux!
Man will never be free until the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest.
Yes being in jail while awaiting trial is very common for people who behave badly on bail or are poor.
He should be treated the same as everyone else and await his trial in jail for his poor behavior and for being a flight risk.
Throw this traitor in jail already. Why is he allowed to continue this behavior?
Which is exactly why I will never do 2. Provide a device if you want control. I will not give you the ability to wipe my personal phone remotely just to check my work email on it.
Also the two box sets (the main Mausritter box and the estate box sets) are super high quality.
Carin and Mausritter are good rules light systems with super fast combat. The added benefit is that they are free. They are both based on Into the Odd. You can make a character in five minutes and understand the rules in ten.
Probably Lennart Poettering. He is responsible for most of the abomination that is systemd.
Check out 3d6 down the line. Really excellent example of old school play.
What Linux issues are those?
The basics of all role playing games are the same. A player wants to accomplish something in the game and there will be a resolution mechanic in the game system to determine the outcome. For D&D it’s usually roll a d20 die, as some modifier, and try to beat some difficulty number.
D&D 5E has a lot of rules and it can lead you to asking for a roll or looking up a rule for everything. Just remember, rolling is for when the outcome of an action is uncertain or has some consequences, and it’s better to just make something up to get past the question you have in the moment and look up the rule later.
It might be easier for you to start with a simpler system with lighter rules. Something like Carin, which has the added benefit of being free!
Good luck, have fun, and don’t sweat about getting everything correct the first time!
I currently have a group exploring the Hole in the Oak using the Old School Essentials system. They have completely missed the sheep people and had very little interaction with the heretical gnomes.
Same group is also playing a campaign in the Elrood sector using the old WEG D6 Star Wars system.
It’s been fun, but hard to keep it running as summer ramps up.
I use private internet access. Say what you want about them, they are one of the few that have proven in court that the do not keeps logs.
Scummy authoritarian dictator uses scummy authoritarian billionaire to make veiled threats at US government ahead of visit, more at 11…
I am making some assumptions based on some of your other answers, so please correct me if I am wrong.
I love independent creators, especially when they are generous enough to hand out some free content. It certainly wasn’t free to create! I would love to have engaged creators in any community.
However, it seems like you have a fundamental misunderstanding of what community engagement should look like. A bunch of posts talking about your products even with some freebies thrown in isn’t community engagement, it’s advertising.
A better way would be to respond to questions asking for recommendations with info about your products, while also disclosing that you are the author, or maybe even someone else’s product of that might be a better fit for their needs.
An even better way to engage is to respond to other people already recommending your products with a thanks and some links to your latest freebies or a note about a upcoming release/Kickstarter.
If you want to be a part of the community then be a part of it, don’t just view it as a marketing opportunity. The key is that you shouldn’t only be here to sell your stuff.
I have run both Into the Odd and Mausritter and love them. I plan on buying Electric Bastionland as soon as I can.
I wish I could get my group to meet more regularly so we could play more of this stuff. Our main campaign is WEG D6 Star Wars right now which is pretty crunchy.
I have also run The Black Hack, Knave, DURF, and Old School Essentials which were all fantastic and Five Torches Deep which I did not like at all.
Battle for Wesnoth: open source turn based strategy rpg.
Nothing, and so they do. Dell will sell you an XPS 13 with Ubuntu installed. Lenovo will let you select Ubuntu or fedora in some models. System76 and Tuxedo will sell you a bunch of laptops only with Linux. Starlabs sells Linux laptops. KDE sells a laptop. Purism sells Linux laptops.
Did you just assume no one sells a Linux laptop?
