It’s crashing for me after I open the app a second time :(
Summit for Lemmy
Summit.
Has basic functionality like marking posts as read after scrolling past them, has a “hide read” option on the FAB button and has a History tab so all hidden posts that you opened will show there. Also, it opens links on custom browser tabs.
I haven’t found another app that does all 4. If someone knows please let me know.
Yes please. Front and center
It’s an American thing. If you live anywhere else probably use WhatsApp so you don’t have that problem.
Good point but just because you know where certain things are on screen, that doesn’t mean everybody knows. So you have to account for that too. Like design considering that that’s the first time someone’s looking at that screen.
ActivityPub. It’s a protocol just like SMTP for email. It allows these different platforms you mentioned to interact with each other. They all together form the fediverse.

You are linking to an old version. There’s a new version v0.9.8 and was renamed to Liftoff.
Also, as a suggestion just link to the releases page and the latest will be on top.

There are some subreddits considered “oficial” that didn’t close and are working as usual. Maybe get content from those at least temporarily?
I’ve noticed this issue with new communities. I’d suggest wait a few hours so the instances “sync” and the community shows up in search. If that doesn’t work maybe it’s a bug.
As far as I know, you don’t need an account on lemmy.world, with your current account you can subscribe to communities, vote, comment, etc., on all instances.
I know right! Lol
Geography teacher told us that the sun is green because if you put a welding mask on and look at it it’ll be green.
This is the way. I play COD Mobile, mostly BR and there’s some areas on both BR maps where you know a lot of people is going to land so there’s where I go all the time. If I die, ok, just repeat.
Also, pretty cool you found a group of like minded people who don’t focus on the score but on the fun.
