I used to hate this soap base, but now that I know its quirks it’s actually not bad. Great scent. I’ve smelled this smell before in candles and stuff, but I just love it. It’s right in my wheelhouse. Frankie & Myrna paired quite nicely with it.
It’s relatively hard.
High in coconut.
You have to load it as dry as possible or else it’s bubbly garbage.
If loading is done correctly, the resulting lather is decent. Dense enough, slick enough, and actually seems to take a good amount of water.
It’s sort of like if you took the Chiseled Face soap base and made it slightly worse and more temperamental. For reference, I like the Chiseled Face base.

Mhm, I’ve never used this base. Is it weird that reading this makes me curious about trying it?
