Yesterday I was somewhere with hard water, and the lather wasn’t very slick. I hypothesized that I had added too much water. Today I’m somewhere with soft water, so the only testing I can do is to see if this soap works well when made slightly pasty. Now that I know it does work when pasty, the next time I’m somewhere with hard water, I can continue my test.
… assuming I pack the same soap next time. Not likely!
That’s smart. Whenever I go somewhere that has a different water type than what I’m used to it always throws me off a little and takes some time to adjust.
What’s your reason for purposefully making a dry lather?
