After 6 months of fostering some cats they’re finally gone. The house is down to two. I’m hoping my allergies improve.
It’s pretty rough out there CONUS for allergies, regardless of cats. Solidarity. I’ve been on a pill daily plus a spray every few nights all summer long.
In the middle of the spring my allergies went absolutely nuts. I’ve had seasonal allergies my entire life but this just killed me. Called my doc and they said that it was the worst allergy season in their memory and prescribed me allergy meds that have helped a lot. Hope you feel better soon!

I’ve been on antihistamine pills every spring the last 30 years, and this year, I serendipitously went to my eye doctor for a prescription for new glasses. She found I had very dry eyes, and prescribed antihistamine drops for the eyes. It turns out that I don’t have to live with head aches and fatigue in spring.
The wife and kids have been out of state the last few days. They’ll be coming home tonight. Gonna take them to see the new Spiderman movie tomorrow.
Across the Spider-verse is a blast, but as a warning, it’s pretty long. Might want to go without any pre-movie beverages.
I blame the fight against smoking for the lack of intermission. Back in the day nobody expected us to be able to sit still for more than one hour without a break😄

My wife is out of town for the past few days. I’ve indulged myself by shaving with Varen, which she hates.
I’m hindsight, I should’ve spent these days using the stuff she doesn’t like!
My wife has fragrance sensitivity so I rarely get to use most of my stuff anymore. We’ve found that mixing a little bit of an aftershave I like with Stirling unscented aftershave doesn’t trigger her sensitivities, so that’s how I roll now.
