Yes, those are two really good points. Since you made it on the Fediverse, I’m of course reminded of a similar discussion with respect to meta’s threads federating. With a fell swoop they would bring more people to the Fediverse that Mastodon, calckey, lemmy, kbin, pixlfed and all the other services combined.

I really don’t know how to feel about this phenomenon.
