It’s so fucked up. I expected it, but still had hope for a surge in women voters or a silent moderate conservative vote or something (I know, naive). What really hurts is that not only did he get elected, but it looks like he might have gotten even the popular vote this time around.
I read SMS’s messages earlier today and you’re right. But I also worry about the international impact. I have good friends in Palestine and a few Ukrainian colleagues, and I’m so worried about how the next four years might do irreparable harm to them and their families.
