    05.12.2024 - Tobacco Thursday

    • Brush: AP Shave Co. Snakeskin handle w/ 26 mm Silksmoke Flattop/Fan hybrid knot
    • Razor: Greencult GC 2.0
    • Blade: Rapira Platinum Lux
    • Lather: Barrister & Mann - The Full Measure of Man
    • Post-Shave: OAM witch hazel & cucumber toner, moisturiser
    • Fragrance: Bentley - Bentley for Men Intense EdP

-> 1-pass face shave done before my late shift (and then I forgot to post here).

Truth be told: I’m mostly a head shaver and I already am tired of the goatee/circle beard. So this might be my last face shave in a while to let it fade out. I really dislike looking like every other bald guy since the “bald with goatee” thing turned into a big fad. I was never one for being totally clean shaven either, so I’ll see where it goes. I’m sure nobody here effing cares, but that was my Thursday rant.

FMoM is so great, I’m glad that I got it. Tobacco scents are something I adore and this one is right up my alley. Of course, a B&M soap in Omnibus is always a treat for my skin. Together with Heather’s ZM soaps and perhaps WK Siero, it has the greatest post-shave skin feeling for me. Which is what makes this hobby nice for me: part skincare, part aromatherapy wellness treatment and part collectors obsession.

It also is always nice to follow up a comfortable shave with one of my favourite perfumes - Bentley for Men Intense is very cheap for an EdP, but it has grown on me. Boozy, warm and cozy scent with an aura of success.

FMoM sounds like a scent I’d dig. Another for the list… ;)

I always saw the very positive remarks about it, sometimes straight up hype, so I was glad that it was soon available in the EU. My fav tobacco is still HoM Tobacconist, but FMoM follows very close.
