LLMs have made some progress. I heard good things about Gemini Flash, and there have clearly been major improvements. Here are my latest attempts to generate a logo for this instance.
First shot – Gemini Flash seems to have some prejudice against Lemmy:
Yet, when I asked Gemini to create a picture of Stalin shaving, this seems to be against the guidelines, so no joy.
On the other hand, straight razors are no longer a problem:

But dysorthography is still a problem:
LLMs still do such a hilariously poor job with reliably creating text in images.
I guess it’s a difficult problem to solve, but it creates some very funny/bizarre results.
