    • Brush: Brad Sears Arley 26mm Super Badger
    • Razor: Wolfman Razors WR4/WRH3
    • Blade: Feather Artist Club ProGuard (6)
    • Lather: Barrister and Mann - Hallows - Soap
    • Post Shave: Barrister and Mann - Hallows - Aftershave
    • Post Shave: Thayers - Cucumber - Toner
    • Fragrance: Barrister and Mann - Hallows - Eau de Toilette

2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.

This was my first use of Hallows and my first use of my new Wolfman WR4. Hallows is just so damn good I kind of forgot that I was using a new razor; and the razor is exceptional.

All I can say about Hallows is that I think I like it better than Leviathan and Leviathan is the only tub of soap that I have killed so far, and I have about 100 too many soaps in my rotation.

I place an order for the WR4 after using the prototype which u/VisceralWatch was kind enough to lend me. My shave quality was excellent, and this razor is just extremely easy to use. I’ll try a Feather Professional in it tomorrow.

        Thank you! (on the photo)

I like to support the artisans. I can’t imagine that there’s much of a market for new artist club razors. I have a Vector also and like that. While the design of the Vector is clever, the squared off mounting screw is just asking to have threads stripped, and there’s nowhere for lather to accumulate. The WR4 is more conventional. It has good edge feel and enough gap so that I can control the angle.

the design of the Vector is too clever

          Fixed that for you😉

The squared-of screws on the AC and GEM blacklands are pretty much why I have no interest in any blackland razors. I like pretty, but form over function drives me nuts

Then there is the practicality of lather management. There’s really nothing to catch lather on a Vector. I have to rinse too frequently (or become less particular about mess).
