So this is my try to make the most French shave possible out of my den. Excellent shave, and my appreciation for this kamisori razor continues to rise – definitely worth the investment!

Pretty dang great. The only downside to shaving at night is I feel like I need to use aftershave that won’t bother the lady in bed next to me. Luckily Hamami is on the good list. In fact, it’s the only scent I have that she has shown any positivity towards.

Haven’t done a MicroMatic Mammoth Monday Formation Flight in ages, and since I haven’t coordinated with anyone, I’m not sure the “Formation” part will work out today. But when I saw @gcgallant@sub.wetshaving.social and u/Marquis90 flying in formation last Monday I got nostalgic, so here we are.
This frag combination is a favourite of mine, these three takes on leather just play so well together.

An evening report time for work means I need to shave, since I haven’t shaved since last night.
I’ve been shaving at night and posting in the next day’s thread, so today’s thread gets double the action.
Will I transition back to morning shaves? Likely just afternoon for a bit due to work schedules, then back to evening until things at home calm down.

2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.
This was a test shave of this razor and the result was terrific. Everything you would expect from a Jnat edge. The edge was in very good shape when it arrived. All it needed was a minor refresh. I think this one was previously honed by @whosgotthepudding@sub.wetshaving.social . I hope I did him justice. Here’s the video.
I don’t use The Undersea very much. I really enjoyed it today.
How many AA razors do you have to get through?
There will be many happy participants in the various open blade challenges this year thanks to you!
Really not that many. I have done three, have a fourth that I’ll do tomorrow, and there’s a fifth on the way. AA is a great opportunity to start down the rabbit hole. I hope people take advantage of it.
