I don’t have the folding Feather SS, but I do have a Kai folding shavette, and a Tedalus Essence, which is folding as well.
So should you switch? I really don’t know. I slightly prefer the folding style, for no other reason than that it allows to store the blade safely in the razor. I see better what I 'm doing with the kamisori, but otherwise, I don’t have a clear preference wrt shaving.

Fair point, though you can get a plastic cover for the Feather SS kamisori. It’s not very sexy looking with the cover on admittedly.
And I haven’t seen them in Europe…
