It’d be nice to spruce up some of our lesser-visited communities with some banner photos.

If you have a good picture of a DE razor, a Straight Razor, maybe some sort of picture that goes along with a computer server – I’d love to see them.

Thanks!

I can put something together for the DE and Straight. Maybe a stock public domain licensed photo of a server farm (lights, cables, etc.) would do for the third image.

Good idea for the general server communities. Probably no need to take a new photo just for the banner unless you really want to! If you have some old favorites I can crop them.

I tossed in a different thumbnail on the straight razor sub because I was a bit sick of it being the same image but I’ve not the level of interest in photography your SotD photos clearly exhibit so I’d be happy to see you swap out the super generic banner if you’d still be interested. Also not partial to the thumbnail I chose beyond the general idea that they not be the same thing and that it’d be kind of neat if the thumbnail showed the grind of a razor toe-on as the spine-as-honing-guide is very core to what makes a straight razor.

Yeah, I completely forgot that I volunteered to do this for @walden@sub.wetshaving.social. Thank you for the kind words on my SOTD photos. I get out of the habit of doing them when my schedule is packed. I’ll try to get back into it in December.

Great, looking forward to the new decor whenever you get a sec. No hurry of course, never wise to hurry when straight razors are involved.
