    • Brush: Chisel and Hound Ambrosia Maple with 26 mm synthetic Maggard knot
    • Razor: Zwilling J. A. Henckels 14 (8/8", extra hollow ground, carbon steel)
    • Lather: Mäurer & Wirtz Tabac Original
    • Aftershave: Mäurer & Wirtz Tabac Original

The vegan Tabac seems to prefer synthetic brushes. I’m not sure how I feel about that yet.

I now am the proud owner of three horse brushes to try, but I haven’t yet.

            Eh, one’s a vie-long and i doubt I’ll ever use it again, so I really have a 50/50 and an extra-soft zenith

I can’t remember who I was talking to about this, but the topic of frag burn with barbershop scents came up. Stirling Barbershop burned the crap out of me back in the day, and I’m not brave enough to see if it still does.

Ghost Town Barber doesn’t burn me at all, and I couldn’t remember if London Barbershop (made from that famous pre-mix) burned me or not. It turns out it doesn’t, sort of. I could tell my skin wasn’t 100% happy with what was going on, but it was totally fine.

Also, a lot of people think the London Barbershop and Ghost Town Barber smell the same, but they’re different. Yes, they are similar, but no, they aren’t the same. Ron has always said they’re different, and now I believe him.
