    Thursday, September 19, 2024: Narcisse + Stank

After yesterday’s September BVWSC shave, this was a preview for October’s. Narcisse is very nice, but after getting rid of my bottle of Floid, I’m missing a neutral, fits-with-everything aftershave. Maybe I’ll try the stuff @WegianWarrior@sub.wetshaving.social uses.

The Epsilon is to my mind much more stanky than good old Tabac – it feels like opening a hermetically sealed box of your grandfather. It has its charm, but I haven’t aquired this aquired taste yet.

    Have a good evening!

    September 19, 2024

    • Brush: Maggard 24mm Tuxedo Synthetic
    • Razor: Chiseled Face - Legacy Raw Titanium (#69)
    • Blade: Bolzano Superinox (Egypt) (4)
    • Lather: Barrister & Mann - Diamond - Soap
    • Post Shave: Spearhead - Seaforth! Heather - Toner
    • Post Shave: allMan - Refined - Balm

Was scooping a smush out of this tub for someone on Discord, so being within reach made it the obvious choice to use today. Soft Heart is probably my least favorite B&M base, but I still love it. It’s just a little too poofy for my refined taste. Very slick, though.

Today is Theme Thursday over on the other place, and we giving a nod to NZ Suffragette Day (Shave with a a product considered to have a more feminine scent, e.g. florals. BONUS if you shave with a product made in New Zealand.)

I don’t have anything made in New Zealand. Koké could totally be a feminine scent though, and it has a Polynesian theme going, and I believe New Zealand is a part of Polynesia.

    Delightful shave with great šmells.
