Okay shave today. Pine Tar has a terrific fragrance, but I didn’t use enough, so my shave was a bit dry and rough at the end while I was trying to clean up some missed bits under my chin. It left some redness, but my post shave didn’t sting at all.

I like it a lot. I was told that it’s a suribachi bowl, but it was sold on Amazon as a shaving bowl. Whatever, I like it. The textured bottom really whips up a nice lather. The only downside(s) that I see are that it may be too large for some, and the flared rim allows some lather to escape the bowl while whipping up the lather. I have no problem with either. And it was only US$10, so it’s quite a deal.
Good to hear. I bought this bowl a couple of months ago off of Amazon for around the same price, so I was curious about the alternatives (pure curiosity; the bowl works very well)

How do you like that bowl?
