A quick evening shave to give MdC Absinthe a try. It’s a nice scent, though I get more mint than anise so far. It also gave my face a tiny tingle – I’m hoping I’m not also sensitive to anise! It might be something else though, Black Ice doesn’t give me the same feeling. We’ll see.
The lather was great though, can’t complain there.

I really like the sheep base, but Varen gives me a bit more frag burn than I’d like. Unfortunate, since I really like the scent. I might rotate this one out for Scot’s Pine or something.
Definitely gives an excellent shave though!
